"If you are considering doing a canopy course then I can highly recommend “Foggy’s” Leading Edge Canopy School. Everybody has their own reasons for wanting to do a canopy course and everybody has their own base skill level as a starting point and this was understood right from the start. I had approximately 200 jumps and felt fairly confident under canopy, but I knew there was so much I needed to learn to become safer in all scenarios and to get the most fun out of flying my canopy. Matt’s knowledge is first class and his enthusiasm for his discipline is infectious. The course was well structured with a good balance between canopy flight theory and practical canopy exercises. It was also flexible enough to allow aspects to be tailored towards every individual’s ability but still maintained some key canopy flying principles and life saving techniques. I have not been left with an over-inflated self-confidence of canopy flying, but more a greater appreciation for canopy flight, a desire to learn more and to become a better, safer pilot. I have even done some hop ‘n pops just to fly my canopy since returning from the course!
